I had an otoplasty done at age 46. Best thing I ever did! I'm sorry that I waited so long. I can now wear headbands over my ears without pain. Helmets don't hurt either. I never was happy with the way my ears stuck out, but not being able to wear things on my head that forced my ears back was just painful!
